1. See the Welds — No Paint Hiding the Workmanship
We will have different-size drilling tools on the ground, so you can inspect the welds up close.
Our tools are not covered with heavy paint or surface treatment that hides the workmanship. You can see the original welds, joint details and wear-protection areas for yourself — including where the welding is done, how the beads are formed and how the high-wear sections are reinforced.
For contractors, this matters because a drilling tool is only as reliable as the details that hold it together under torque, impact and repeated loading.
2. Cut-Open Teeth — See What Is Inside
We will also display sectioned drilling teeth so you can see the construction inside, not just the finished shape.
You can compare the carbide tip, tooth body and wear-protection structure, and see how the cutting part is supported by the steel body. We can also explain why different tooth designs are used for rock, gravel, sand and mixed formations.

FES is developing a patent-pending high-hardness wear-protection technology for drilling teeth used in abrasive ground.
The technology is designed to improve wear resistance around high-wear areas and help protect the tooth body against prolonged contact with sand, gravel and rock.
At A.19, you can see the structure up close and talk to our engineers about how it is designed and where it can make a difference in actual drilling conditions.

Bring your rig model, soil or rock conditions, or even a worn-out tooth, cracked weld or failed drilling tool.
