6 XCMG Rotary Drills Drilled 2,100 Piles within a Short Construction Period! 

The construction site of the Ma’anshan Industrial Park project is in full swing. How to efficiently complete 2,100 piles within the construction period has become a pressing issue for the project.

The pile foundation construction of the project was started from October 2022 and is expected to be completed in February 2023. It is noticeable that the geology of the site is dominated by moderately weathered red sandstone, and the piles are mainly cast-in-place piles with a depth of 30m|98ft and diameters of 600mm2ft and 800mm|2.6ft. One XCMG rotary drilling rig XR150D, XR160E, XR220E and three XR200E were used on site.

As a multi-functional machine, XR160E can realize the quick switching between Kelly/CFA/FDP drilling methods to meet various construction needs.
