Thirteen XCMG Rigs Working on the Construction of Guangzhan Expressway Project

With a total length of 400 kilometers and a total investment of 99.8 billion yuan, the Guangzhan Expressway is an important part of the national “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed railroad network and plays an important role in strengthening Guangdong’s economic and social development.

At the start of the project, two xcmg rotary drilling rigs (model: XR400D) were put into use on the construction site with slightly weathered granite. The project department was impressed by the excellent performance of the rigs. Within one month, these two rigs were able to complete work of more than 3 million value.

Up to now, 13 xcmg drilling rig are working for this project, including XCMG XR360, XR360E, and XR400D rotary drill rigs, accounting for 93% of the total number of drilling rigs in the project. The customer expressed great recognition to the operation efficiency of the XCMG rotary drilling rig and was full of confidence and expectation for the next cooperation.

The whole project will have over 2,000 piles, with pile diameters varying from 1.2 meters to 1.6 meters, and pile depths varying from 40 meters to 50 meters. XCMG rotary rig machine is able to complete two piles per three days with high quality and high efficiency. With such a high output, the construction might able to be completed ahead of schedule.
